Houchens Food Group Wins Again at NGA
Last week members of the Houchens Food Group leadership team attended the National Grocers Association Show in Las Vegas. The three-day event is packed with independent retailers, food and CPG manufacturers and suppliers, and grocery tech service providers. They take this opportunity to learn, share, engage, and innovate with other industry leaders. In addition, there are a few award ceremonies to celebrate the prior year's successes.

Houchens Food Group received the Cheez-It Impact Award as a Special Recognition Winner for the "Add Milk!" campaign that offers discounts on select milk products for SNAP participants in our stores.
Houchens Food Group received the Unilever "People Positive" Award as a Special Recognition Winner for our Above and Beyond program to recognize store associates.
Houchens Food Group also won in the Marketing Community Engagement and Celebratory Milestones Category for the Clendenin Save A Lot Grand Opening video.

Houchens Food Group was also chosen for The Shelby Report's Exceptional Independent Retail Organization again for 2025.

Matt Ladnier, Store Manager for Store #622 in Wiggins, MS, was selected for The Shelby Report's Exceptional Independents Award.
