On May 28, 2026, Houchens Food Group (HFG) acquired the Ace Hardware in Butler, Pennsylvania. HFG is headquartered in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and owns Ace Hardware stores in 6 states: Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Pennsylvania.

As a 100% employee-owned company, Houchens Food Group remains committed to investing in strong, community-focused businesses and continuing to support the Butler community while carrying forward the tradition of helpful service customers expect from Ace Hardware of Butler.
